48aastane printsess ja temast neli aastat noorem biseksuaalne šamaan Durek kinnitasid oma armusuhet maikuus Instagramis. Kaks aastat varem oli Märtha Louise lahutanud oma kolme tütre isast Ari Behnist.

When you meet your twin flame, you know. I have been lucky enough to have met mine. @shamandurek has changed my life, like he does with so many. He has made me realize that unconditional love actually exists here on this planet. He embraces all of me without question or fear. Printsess ja Durek pole olnud kitsid oma õnne maailmaga jagamast – kuuenda põlve šamaan rääkis oma uut eneseabiraamatut "Spirit Hacking" reklaamides, et tema ja Märtha Louise elasid koos juba kunagises elus. "Mõnikord, kui oleme koos ja Märthale otsa vaatan, näen üht teist nägu. Ja tema minus niisamuti. Ma mäletan meid koos Egiptuses, ta oli mu kuninganna ja mina olin vaarao," seletas ta ajakirjale People.

Durek rääkis ka nende kohtumisest: neid oli kokku viinud ühine sõber. "Märtha astus sisse ja ütles: "Ma mäletan sind küll. Ma tean, kes sa oled,"" meenutas Durek. "Ja ma vastasin: "Jah, me teame teineteist juba väga ammusest ajast." See tuli mul lihtsalt suust välja!"

Märtha Louise ei lase end häirida kriitikutest, kes tema armulugu šamaaniga pahaks panevad. Ta nimetab Durekit oma kaksikleegiks ning kirjutas Instagramis, et mõistab tänu uuele kallimale: tingimusteta armastus on siiski olemas.
