Teisalt kritiseeris Dench oma filmi "Cats". Ta ütles, et ei ole seda küll täismahus näinud, kuid arvutigraafika valmistas talle pettumuse. Näitlejanna oli lootnud muunduda elegantseks kassiks. "Aga ma nägin välja nagu suur oranž poksija".
